Blackpink's Jennie Kim has a reported net worth of around $8 million, but she may not be the richest member of the K-pop group.

Jennie is the main rapper of Blackpink, which also includes Lisa, Jisoo, and Rosé. The South Korean girl group debuted in 2016, and despite having been in the industry for only four years, Blackpink has achieved phenomenal success worldwide.

The net worths of Jennie, Jisoo and Rosé are around the same: somewhere between $8 million to $9 million. It is customary for K-pop groups that earnings are equally divided between all the members.

For the Blackpink main rapper, she makes money from endorsements, signing solo deals with Adidas Originals, Calvin Klein and Samsung, according to Stylecaster. Jennie is a brand ambassador for Chanel and cosmetics brand Hera and has a collaboration with luxury eyewear label Gentle Monster.

Jennie is also the only member who has released a solo album, dropping the aptly named "Solo" back in 2018. She has 33.1 million followers on Instagram.

For fans wondering who makes the most in the group, Seoulz.com reported that Buriram Province, Thailand native Lisa, whose real name is Lalisa Manoban, has an estimated net worth of $10 million, potentially making her the richest member of Blackpink.

Lisa also has a Youtube channel called Lilifilm Official that boasts 3.99 million subscribers and over 130 million views despite having only nine videos so far.

On top of her group endorsements with Blackpink, Lisa has also scored solo deals with cosmetics brand Moonshot, D&G Downy, Chinese yogurt brand Zhenguoli and mobile games "Ragnarok M: Eternal Love" and "Brawl Stars."

Lisa has signed lucrative deals to star in commercials in Thailand as well. These include a solo endorsement deal with the country's largest mobile phone operator, AIS Thailand.

Fans have compared Blackpink’s success to that of another supergroup from South Korea, BTS. While BTS has a higher estimated net worth, especially after becoming shareholders of its label, Big Hit Entertainment, Blackpink’s achievements should not be undermined. Both K-pop groups have an international following, collaborations with global artists and videos that rack up hundreds of millions of views on YouTube.

Blackpink recently dropped its first full-length album, simply titled "The Album," which is expected to solidify its status as a top girl group.

The album features a collaboration with Selena Gomez, "Ice Cream," which set a record as the highest-charting tune by a South Korean girl group when it debuted no. 13 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

The song is on its way to setting another record, this time as the longest-charting song from a female K-pop group in the history of Hot 100, a report from Forbes revealed. For this feat, "Ice Cream" is currently tied with "Kill This Love," which is another Blackpink track.
