Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler have officially reunited for “Murder Mystery 2.” New behind-the-scenes photos from the set of the upcoming film show Aniston and Sandler on set in Oahu, Hawaii, seemingly dressed for a vacation.

In the photos, Aniston wears a light floral skirt and green blouse. She completes her look with a large straw hat. The photos also show Sandler hanging around his co-star wearing his blue breathable top and pants.

Meanwhile, the latest photos hint that “Murder Mystery 2” may not completely take place in Hawaii. While the photos do not exactly give away where the international location of the film will be, there have been hints that Hawaii could be doubling for India, given the costume design of the extras on the set. One of the photos also shows an extra playing a sitar—a popular string musical instrument in India—at a gathering, suggesting that the pair might be attending a party of some sort in the country.

Aniston and Sandler are reprising their roles as Nick and Audrey Spitz, three years after the first “Murder Mystery” film hit Netflix in 2019. The film follows New York cop Nick and his wife Audrey as they go on a European trip to revive their marriage. However, a chance encounter results in them being framed for the murder of an old billionaire.

The first film earned mixed reviews from critics and audiences alike but had the biggest opening for any Netflix movie at the time. Shortly after its release, Netflix confirmed that a sequel was in the works and would be top-billed by Aniston and Sandler. That same year, the streaming giant reported that the first movie had been viewed by over 30 million accounts in three days.

TV Line reported back in September that “Murder Mystery 2” would be “another international adventure full of intrigue and hijinks.” The film marks the third time Aniston and Sandler are collaborating on a movie. The first movie they made together was the 2011 romantic comedy “Just Go with It.”
