Jennifer Aniston was previously accused of saying that she didn’t want to have kids with Brad Pitt that’s why their marriage ended.

The “Murder Mystery” star was also accused of not wanting to have babies altogether, but she has since denied this claim. People recently revisited Aniston’s interview with Elle last year where she revealed her real stand about becoming a mom.

“Some people are just built to be wives and have babies. I don’t know how naturally that comes from me… Who knows what the future holds in terms of a child and a partnership – how that child comes in… or doesn’t?” she said.

The publication included Aniston to their list of celebrities that said they didn’t want to have a baby, but during the actress’ interview with Vanity Fair, Aniston denied the rumors that she doesn’t want to have a baby.

“I’ve never in my life said I didn’t want to have children. The women that inspire me are the ones who have careers and children; why would I want to limit myself?” she said.

Speculations about Aniston not wanting to have babies heightened after her marriage to Pitt ended over a decade ago. The couple was together for a couple of years, but they never had kids. Pitt moved on with Angelina Jolie, and they were blessed with six children together.

However, Aniston and Pitt’s divorce didn’t really have anything to do with having or not having babies. During her interview with Vanity Fair, Aniston said that she felt she gave so much of herself in her marriage but things don’t always go as planned.

In 2016, the actress also penned an article for the Huffington Post where she talked about motherhood. Readers took it negatively and assumed that Aniston said she didn’t want to have kids of her own.

“We don’t need to be married or mothers to be complete. We get to determine our own happily ever after for ourselves,” she wrote.
