Jennifer Garner recently revealed the heartbreaking way her son, Samuel, was affected by the class cancelations due to the deadly coronavirus pandemic.

On her Instagram account, the mom of three revealed that Samuel was looking forward to starring in the school play “Frozen,” where he would play the role of a troll. But due to the recent cancelations, Samuel’s performance has been postponed.

Garner uploaded a photo of her notes about the recent cancelations saying that this is the time of the year when preschoolers and professionals are working their tails off to perform. Unfortunately, everything has been shut down.

The “13 Going On 30” star then encouraged her followers to use the hashtag #heyjenlookatme when they post videos of themselves singing or performing because she wants to see them all.

“To the Elsas and Matildas; to the Willy Lomans and Romeos. Not to mention the flutists, the pianists, the gymnasts, the shot-putter. We want to SEE – show us what you’ve got!! #heyjenlookatme,” she captioned her notes.

On Tuesday, Garner joined forces with her good friend and fellow actress, Amy Adams in reading favorite children’s books in partnership with Save the Children's foundation. The organization launched the Save With Stories initiative to help millions of kids to learn and eat amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Hours later, Garner shared a video of Reese Witherspoon reading a children’s book as part of the new initiative.

“It helps to have a boss lady – with the hugest heart in the world for a friend. I love you, @reesewitherspoon…” she captioned the actress’ video.

Meanwhile, Garner’s three children are self-confessed book readers and it’s because of the actress’s love for reading. During an interview with InStyle in 2017, the actress said that she likes reading books written for 13-year-olds and younger.

“I’ll read anything, really, but if I'm reading to young kids, I like to choose something with rhymes. They’re really the building blocks of language and really allow children to hold onto one word as they connect it to the next,” she said.
