Jennifer Garner got some help from her mom, Patricia Ann Garner, in whipping up some delicious blackberry cobbler.

In her latest "Pretend Cooking Show" video on Instagram, the actress brought back the outspoken family matriarch to help her with the summer-friendly dessert, which was originally created by Garner's "bonus mom" Mrs. Lantz.

"My mom says you’ll have everyone at the potluck eating dessert first with this summer staple," Garner wrote in the caption, adding, "love to my bonus mom, Mrs. Lantz."

Before they got started, Garner told fans that they will be making a "potluck favorite," according to her mom.

The video showed Garner taking out four cups of blackberries from their containers and washing them, with her mom sneakily eating one before spreading them on a white baking dish. They added in almond extract and a tablespoon of lemon juice.

At one point, Garner playfully asked Patricia to be more specific regarding which flour to use for the recipe, to which she replied, "I know she's deviling me."

The mother-daughter pair also talked about cracking eggs with one hand. "Do you remember when you taught me to crack eggs one-handed?" Garner asked, to which Patricia replied, "I didn't teach you that. You learned that on your own. I still can't do that."

Then, as the "Yes Day" star poured melted butter over the dish before it went into the oven, her mother sweetly complimented her, saying, "You're doing a good job, Jen."

"Thanks, mom," she responded.

The clip ended with the duo enjoying the blackberry cobbler with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Garner's followers showed her mother some love in the comments.

"Gosh she’s so sweet. Your mama is our kinda woman. BUTTER," one fan commented. "There she is!!!! Hi Mama Garner," another user said.

"This looks heavenly mamma strikes again bravo," a third wrote.

"Ohhh I love this - the cutest seeing you two cook together!! Enjoy Moms are the best," Jeff Leatham opined.

Patricia previously appeared in a viral video Garner posted in July last year that showed her guiding her daughter virtually through making cornbread.

"I call my mom every time I make cornbread—even though I've written the recipe in every notebook, even though I am sure I could toss it together in my sleep. Maybe watching this will show you why, perhaps, I just like to call my mom," Garner wrote in the caption.
