The murder of 21-year-old Ohio woman Jessica Rae Sacco has taken on a bizarre twist. Sacco, who had been killed in March, was stabbed, suffocated and dismembered. Five people have been charged with the murder, and one is revealing an odd story to police.

Matthew Puccio, 24, was Sacco's boyfriend, and one of the five people accused of her murder. Puccio is now telling police she asked him to stab her. According to Sacco's boyfriend, he discovered a text on her phone that suggested she was planning on having him killed. She started crying and told me, 'I wish I didn't have to die, but I understand what I did,' Puccio told police. She was pleading with me to slash her throat and slash her wrist, do something. And I told her, 'No, I can't do that to you,' and she told me to stab her then. So, I just held my hand above her stomach. She grabbed my wrist and pulled it into her stomach.

According to the Inquisitr, not everyone close to the couple believe Puccio's story. Sacco's friend, Amanda Erb, told reporters that the couple, who met six months ago on Facebook, had been having problems, and Puccio was the root of it. I've been telling her, 'You need to get him out of here,' Erb told WBNS. Maybe that's what set the whole thing off. Maybe she had enough and was going to tell him to leave. I don't know.

Along with Puccio, the others accused of Sacco's death are Andrew and Kandace Forney, Christopher Wright and Sharon Cook. They're believed to have witnessed Sacco's death without doing anything to stop it. Police also believe they may have taken part in helping Puccio dismember the body.

Puccio told police Sacco's last words to him were, I still love you, and I forgive you.
