Josh Duggar's wife Anna Duggar is pregnant, and they are expecting their seventh child together.

On Friday, the "19 Kids and Counting" alum and his wife made the announcement via Instagram through a video of their baby's gender reveal.

"It's a GIRL!!!!! We are overjoyed to announce baby seven is on the way and we can’t wait to hold her in our arms this fall!" Anna captioned the video and a family photo she posted.

In the clip, Anna and Josh are standing in a field under a clear umbrella. When Josh pops the umbrella open, they are showered with pink confetti, and the couple’s six children start running toward the camera from behind their parents.

Prior to the announcement of baby no. 7, Josh and Anna welcomed their sixth child, Maryella Hope, now 17 months, in November 2019. They are expected to continue their tradition of "M" names for their upcoming bundle of joy as well. The two are also parents to Mackenzie, 11, Michael, 9, Marcus, 7, Meredith, 5, and Mason, 3.

Meanwhile, the announcement was flooded with congratulatory messages from their friends, family members and supporters.

"AHHHHH CONGRATULATIONS," Josie Bates Balka commented.

"Can’t wait to meet her!!! Congratulations," John Duggar and his wife Abbie wrote.

"Congrats Anna! What a precious reveal! Kids look adorable!" one follower added.

"Congrats!!!! the girls are ahead!!! Hehehe," another wrote.

Meanwhile, others expressed concern over how the couple would be able to cover the expenses of their growing family. Josh no longer appears on his family's TV shows after being involved in a molestation scandal in 2015. But some fans urged their critics to let the family be. Anna also spoke up to defend her husband.

"How do you afford all those kids? Does Josh even work?" one asked.

"I say this because I’d love a big family one day. How can someone afford so many kids. You’re living my dream," another added.

"Why should it matter to anyone but this family how many kids they have? If they can afford them...have as many as they want. That's my opinion," another wrote.

"Yes, my husband is a diligent worker and provides well for our family," Anna wrote.

Just recently, Jinger Duggar revisited her brother's scandal. According to her, the incident was one of the hardest times their family had ever gone through, but it helped her recognize who her real friends were. She also shared how it brought their family closer.

"Our family was way closer because of that, and in spite of that, I guess you’d say," Jinger explained. "I will never forget how I felt in that moment. And I think even everything that happens in our lives — because we’re in the public eye — it makes it more challenging because then it’s not just dealing with these things inwardly, but you have to give an answer to the world. That makes it a much tougher thing to walk through."
