A new school bag with a note is placed at the front door of the Goto family. “Kakushigoto” episode 6 to showcase new adventures for Kakushi, Hime and others.

According to “Kakushigoto” episode 6 preview trailer, it is Hime’s birthday, and Kakushi will take her to a theme park.

The trailer teases that Kakushi will have a party at Kidzanira, a popular theme park for kids, and Hime can’t wait until Sunday. Meanwhile, Ami Kakei is angry over something as she yells, “no one would believe this even if it was in a manga!”

In the previous episode of “Kakushigoto,” Satsuki Tomaruin, the editor, comes to Kakushi’s office to inform him that he will be the judge of an upcoming newcomer award.

Kakushi rejects his offer, and Tomaruin tells him that other senseis are doing it as well. He wants Kakushi to do it as his duty towards the craft.

However, Kakushi declines again. Later, he meets Hime, who tells him that they need to do their turn for duty. “But, someone has to do the duties others don’t like, or society will crumble.”

Her lines hit him hard, and he accepts Tomaruin’s offer. Kakushi, creator of “Tights in the Wind,” is the 95th judge for the newcomer award, and his staff his shocked to witness this change of heart.

Kakeru Keshi asks Kakushi to give his manuscript some constructive criticism. And to everyone’s surprise, Kakushi gives him a valid criticism, which he can use in his future works.

It is not so surprising to see a mangaka of Kakushi’s stature to dish out meaningful criticism.

The episode shows the relationship between Hime and Kakushi blossom. His concern for Hime, after he had to spend the night at work, is visible throughout the episode.

It will be interesting to see how Hime’s mother enter into this father-daughter dynamic.

“Kakushigoto” episode 6 is slated to air Thursday (May 7). The episode can be watched online via live streaming on Funimation. Currently, “Kakushigoto” episodes are available in Japanese with English subtitles.
