Kate Middleton allegedly copied Meghan Markle's style during her recent Zoom video call.

The Duchess of Cambridge and Duchess of Sussex are often pitied against each other. In the recent episode of the "Royally Obsessed" podcast, co-hosts Roberta Fiorito and Rachel Bowie discussed how Middleton's accessories during her video call from Kensington Palace were too similar to Markle's style.

"It felt very produced," Fiorito said.

"It felt like it was part of a movie or a documentary or something," Bowie added. "And it's interesting because — so many people have called this out and we're not the first to call this out - Meghan's Zoom setup, now Kate on a couch with a table behind her with the photos and the vase and the flowers, it seems so similar."

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex put a lot of effort when it comes to arranging their books and positioning the flowers and photographs in their place because they do multiple video calls in a month. For instance, the "Women: National Geographic Image Collection" was visible when Markle appeared on "America's Got Talent." The same collection was featured when she and Prince Harry made a video call with Time 100. The podcast co-hosts felt that Middleton did the same effort when she appeared in her latest video call.

"Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery as we say... it's just funny because it's them trying to feel more relatable and copy that style that the Sussexes have nailed," Bowie continued.

The Zoom call the podcast co-hosts were talking about was Middleton's video chat with the families of the British Armed Forces members in honor of Remembrance Week. The call gave a glimpse of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's home in Kensington Palace where fans saw their cream-colored couch and various decor in the room.

From the camera angle, one can also see the collection of family photographs behind the duchess. The portraits included Prince William and Middleton's trip to Africa in 2018, Prince George and Princess Charlotte's first day of school photos and Middleton's picture with Prince Louis at the Chelsea Flower Show garden.
