Kate Middleton and Camilla Parker Bowles have decided to work together for a greater cause.

The Duchess of Cambridge and Duchess of Cornwall are both very dedicated to charity work. Middleton champions children's mental health charity Place2Be. On the other hand, Camilla is the patron of The National Literacy. According to Ainhoa Barcelona, a journalist for Hello!, the two charities have recently overlapped, prompting the duchesses to join forces for a special cause.

A research conducted by The National Literacy Trust that children who enjoy reading and writing tend to enjoy better mental health. As a result, Middleton's Place2Be decided to create some tips, along with Camilla's trust, for parents and guardians to help their children.

They recommended children to "get lost in a good book...to forget about stress and worry." They also encouraged one to read a funny book "to make your child laugh and feel happier" and to "read before bedtime" to switch off from the day. In addition, they also inspired kids to use picture books to "talk about difficult topics" and more.

They also recommended that children write about any distressing events to help them process the incident. They should also jot down their happy moments to preserve their positive emotions.

Middleton and Camilla have been spotted together multiple times and they look amicable with each other. However, there were rumors that the two had a rift because the Duchess of Cornwall didn't approve of Middleton for Prince William. In fact, she asked Prince Charles to advise his son to break up with Middleton when they were still dating.

According to royal biographer Christopher Andersen in his book "Game of Crowns: Elizabeth, Camilla, Kate and the Throne," Camilla was just jealous of Middleton because the public was warm to her. Middleton was well-liked while she struggled to win the people after her affair with Prince Charles.

In 2007, Middleton and Prince William split for a short time. Camilla was reportedly happy and dimmed their separation as "wise." After a few months, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge rekindled their romance and opened up about their breakup during their engagement interview.

"I think I at the time wasn't very happy about it, but actually it made me a stronger person," Middleton said about their split. "You find out things about yourself that maybe you hadn't realised. Or I think you can get quite consumed by a relationship when you are younger."
