Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle’s alleged rift could be due to their lack of similarities.

In the past weeks, the Duchess of Cambridge and Duchess of Sussex’s alleged row has been the topic of most reports. Now royal expert Robert Jobson has shared his thoughts about the issue.

According to him, Markle and Middleton are different. They are in different stages of their lives. Middleton is already a mom of three. On the other hand, Markle has been an actress and a divorcee.

"There is not really an awful lot of similarities to their lives," Jobson told ITV Tonight.

In a past interview, Jobson noted that the two women don’t need to get on with each other. He also added that Markle and Middleton are only married to two brothers and need not necessarily be the best of friends.

Markle and Middleton’s rumored rift coincide with reports that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are leaving Kensington Palace. Some insiders claimed that the couple decided to move to Windsor due to the tension with Prince William. Others said that it was due to the conflict between the two duchesses.

For Jobson, Prince William and Prince Harry’s separation is inevitable now that they are both married and have a growing family.

"Ultimately, it’s inevitable that both the household of William and the household of Harry separate and became their own individual households because in time the Prince of Wales will be Prince William," Jobson explained.

Prince William, Prince Harry and Middleton have been working together in the past years earning them the moniker the “royal trio.” However, things changed when Markle and Prince Harry got engaged.

According to royal author Sally Bedell Smith, the arrival of the former "Suits" actress in the royal family changed the dynamic of the three. However, she believes that it’s just practical for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to separate from the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge because in this way they can build up their own collection of charities according to their interests.

Markle is popular for her strong views on women’s rights. On the other hand, Middleton and Prince William have been promoting mental health. Having separate courts will enable all of them to focus on what they really to support.
