Prince Harry seems to be breaking away from Prince William and Kate Middleton after marrying Meghan Markle.

Prior to Markle's arrival, Prince Harry has always been with Prince William and Middleton when attending royal engagements. In fact, due to their dedication to similar projects, they were dubbed as the royal trio. However, according to recent reports, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex want to forge their own path, and this may mean that Prince Harry will have to split from Prince William and Middleton.

"The arrival of Meghan has changed the dynamic of the relationship in a fairly significant way," royal author Sally Bedell Smith told People. "It is inevitable and practical because it gives Harry and Meghan some freedom to build up their own collection of interests and charities."

"Meghan has very strong views on what she is interested in and that may be what Harry shares, but not what William and Kate share," Bedell continues.

It has been reported earlier that Prince William and Prince Harry are considering a formal division now that both have a growing family. They are expected to create separate courts and offices in the palace.

"The brothers have leant on each other and looked after each other since their mother died," a source told The Times. "But now they have their own families, they longer rely on each other as before."

"William and Harry double act has naturally been supplanted by the two couples and their families," the source added.

As for the split, Claudia Joseph suggested how their roles would be different. "I think we are going to see more and more of William and Kate as 'team GB', for obvious reasons, and Harry and Meghan, I think, will be 'team Commonwealth,'" Joseph said.

Meanwhile, Bedell thinks that this just due to different priorities and interests with Prince William being a father of three and Prince Harry being soon to be a dad.

"Each of them will continue the very strong representative of the Queen in carrying out tasks and assignments that she, and probably their father, wants them to do. They are going to be sharing in this diffusion of activities on behalf of the Queen," Bedell told People.

Although Prince Harry and William will no longer work the way they did before, they will still support each other and will still be seen together from time to time. In fact, they will be joining forces over the weekend to attend three Remembrance engagements.
