  • Kate Middleton will represent the face of Britain's future
  • Kate Middleton will have a busier schedule after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's exit
  • Kate Middleton will continue to support Queen Elizabeth

Kate Middleton will be taking on more responsibilities now that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have stepped back from their royal roles.

While speaking with Fox News, royal author Leslie Carroll said that it is likely for Queen Elizabeth to expect the Duchess of Cambridge to have an even greater presence in the United Kingdom and to step up her public appearances.

Prince William’s wife will soon become the face and patron of more charities and organizations since Markle will no longer be heading new groups.

“Kate is the one who will have to represent the face of Britain’s future on a more regular basis and balance an increasingly challenging schedule of royal duties while being a hands-on mother of young children,” Carroll said.

Before Prince Harry and Markle’s announcement, royal commentator Omid Scobie said that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge would be required to put in a lot more work this year.

“It’s great, she is a mother, she has three kids, she has a very busy plate as it is, but to see her taking on, even more, is needed because as the Queen steps back, the younger royals having to step forward and put in a lot more work,” Scobie said on the podcast “HeirPod.”

Royal expert Vickie Arbiter said that Middleton is quite fortunate that she had her kids when she did because she’s been able to be hands-on with them at home. But her schedule has started building up, especially since she has been offering her support to the Queen.

At that time, the royal experts’ predictions came after Prince Andrew announced his resignation. But now that Prince Harry and Markle will no longer be in the fold as well, Middleton and Prince William could really expect to take part in more royal duties and engagements.

As of late, only Prince William has released a statement about his brother and sister-in-law’s exit. Middleton has stayed mum about the issue.
