Kate Middleton loves wearing towering heels because she knows how to make herself comfortable with them.

The Duchess of Cambridge often wears stiletto heels when she attends royal engagements. Many are actually wondering how the royal mom of three pulls it off provided that most of her duties entail walking upon arrival to touring the location.

Here are Middleton’s three stiletto hacks that you should know by now.

1. Use leather insoles

Middleton makes the stiletto-induced pain more bearable by using Alice Bow’s leather insoles. The brand created this product to offer comfort to women who often complain about their painful feet just minutes after using their heels. Alice Bow is the solution to “ugly or ineffective insoles.”

“Kate has ordered a couple of packets, she thinks they are great,” an insider told Vanity Fair.

Alice Bow is based in London. Rachel Bowditch, the founder, studied shoemaking and spent six months testing prototypes to produce an effective leather padding insert for any type of footwear both flats and high heels

2. Use tights with built-in sticky pads

The royals are advised to wear tights and when Middleton does, she opts for John Lewis tights because they have built-in sticky pads along the feet to prevent shoes from slipping.

The stockings retail for only $6 and are available in nude, black and tan color options.

3. Be cool

Your attitude when wearing your stilettos matter. If you are too conscious or very careful you will probably not feel comfortable in your choice of shoes.

The Duchess of Cambridge’s heels have been stuck in a drain several times, but she reacted in those separate incidents with confidence.

In 2013, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended the Irish Guards St. Patrick's Day Parade when Middleton was caught struggling to get her stiletto out of the hole. The duchess was photographed smiling while trying to pull her feet from the grate and holding Prince William’s hand for support.

In 2018, the same incident happened again when Middleton visited a new addiction treatment center in Wickford. At the time, the Duchess of Cambridge was already seven months pregnant with Prince Louis.

Middleton just smiled and maintained her balance. After the incident, the royal mom of three just laughed it off and happily greeted the staff of the Action on Addiction Community Treatment Center.
