On her Twitter account, the “American Idol” alum announced the official title for her second book, as well as its release date. “River Rose and the Magical Christmas” will be available at various bookstores in the United States starting Oct. 24. The 35-year-old singer also shared a photo of the book’s cover.

In the three-minute video, Clarkson hilariously joked about introducing the book before her daughter, River Rose, arrives. After all, the adorable toddler was still getting ready at that time and was still getting her nails done. The “Because of You” singer also shared that “River Rose and the Magical Christmas” will be available for pre-order on www.hc.com/riverrose.

“River Rose and the Magical Christmas” centers on River Rose deciding to stay up all night and wait to personally deliver her letter to Santa Claus. However, she unknowingly dozes off with her dog, Joplin, and the two of them go on a magical adventure to the North Pole in her dreams.

Meanwhile, Clarkson recorded a song for “Magical Christmas,” and she said that was written from the perspective of elves who are celebrating on Christmas Eve. The song is fittingly titled, “Christmas Eve.” When asked why she decided to write a Christmas-centered sequel, Clarkson revealed that her daughter is a huge fan of the holiday.

Before the press conference ended, an organizer approached Clarkson and told her that her daughter has decided to stay backstage. The upcoming “The Voice” judge joked about River Rose being held up since she has very important things to do at the age of 3. A clip of the young girl dancing was also shown before the video ended.

“River Rose and the Magical Lullaby” was first announced by Clarkson last year via her Twitter account. Talking about her inspiration for the book, Clarkson said, “It’s kind of a cool thing to be on a plane with my daughter, we were going on trips to the U.K. and Asia and Australia, all these amazing places that she was too little to remember. Basically I started writing down these little fun stories,” she said.
