KFC is giving its beach-going customers a new way to enjoy the fast-food menu before the summer ends — by rolling out its new sunscreen, which smells like – what else – finger-lickin-good fried chicken.

According to Fortune, KFC created Extra Crispy Sunscreen, a new sunblock with SPF 30 lotion, which will not only help prevent beach-goers and consumers from getting sun burned during the summer months but it will also ensure customers smell like an extra crispy six-piece chicken meal while they bake under the sun.

“We’ve had a lot of fun with our Extra Crispy Colonel campaign this summer and the sunscreen idea seemed like a natural fit,” a rep for KFC explained to Fortune. “Our chicken is hand breaded and freshly prepared in our kitchens all day every day, which makes the smell in our restaurants unparalleled. The Extra Crispy Sunscreen is a fun way to leverage that with our fans.”

Although the flagrant aroma of fried chicken may entice customers to take a good bite out of themselves (or others), just like every sunscreen on the market, KFC’s Extra Crispy Sunscreen is not edible.

The company unveiled the latest product to come from KFC’s Extra Crispy Colonel campaign (the fast food chain announced they are working on an edible chicken nail polish line back in May, and in September 2014 KFC rolled out their very own fried chicken keyboard as well as a chicken leg memory drive) on it’s website, where they were gifting the sunscreen to fans for free. The sunscreen has since sold out.

As for side effects for self-tanners using KFC’s Extra Crispy Sunscreen, the website warns that users may suffer from “the Extra Crispy lifestyle and smelling like fried chicken” after using their deliciously interesting new product.
