“Killing Eve” comes to an end tonight, and fans are left wondering if the show will bring back Villanelle and Eve Polastri for another epic game of cat and mouse. Luckily, BBC America and AMC have already announced whether the show has been canceled or renewed for Season 4.

On Jan. 3, the networks announced that “Killing Eve” was renewed for Season 4. That was months before Season 3 premiered, but clearly, the bosses are happy with the Sandra Oh and Jodie Comer show’s acclaim.

“How could we not have massive confidence in ‘Killing Eve’? It has won big in every major award show and is the highest growing show on U.S. television for six years,” Sarah Barnett, President, AMC Networks Entertainment Group and AMC Studios said in a statement. “The reason for this series’ emphatic embrace is the brilliant women who breathed it into being: Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Emerald Fennell, Sandra Oh, Jodie Comer, Fiona Shaw and it’s fairy godmother, executive producer Sally Woodward Gentle.”

The series will be back on BBC America and AMC in 2021, if all goes as planned, and the drama will get a new showrunner. Thus far, every season has had a new writer. Phoebe Waller-Bridge penned Season 1 before passing the baton to Emerald Fennell in Season 2 who let Suzanne Heathcote take over for “Killing Eve” Season 3.

The newest writer will be Laura Neal. She penned two episodes in Season 3, titled "Meetings Have Biscuits" and "Beautiful Monster." Neal previously wrote for Comer on "My Mad Fat Diary." Other credits include “Secret Diary of a Call Girl” and “Sex Education.”

“Laura is frighteningly bright, takes no prisoners and can laugh at anything,” executive producer Sally Woodward Gentle said in a statement. “She’s wicked and wild, emotional and provocative. The stories we are already creating for Season 4 promise a pitch-black riot.”

“Killing Eve” is based on the Codename Villanelle novellas by Luke Jennings. In addition to critical acclaim, the show has scored accolades at the Emmys, BAFTAs, Golden Globes, Peabodys and Critics Choice Awards.

The Season 3 finale of "Killing Eve" airs Sunday at 9 p.m. EDT on BBC America and AMC.
