Kris Jenner recently gushed about her youngest child, Kylie Jenner, turning 18 and becoming an adult. The Kardashian matriarch admitted Kylie has “a lot of responsibility,” but says she’s handling her newfound independence extremely well.

“She’s definitely coming into her own,” said Kris during an interview with Extra. “She was 18 recently and moved into her own house so she’s got a lot on her plate, a lot of responsibility and she’s handling it really well.”

Kylie bought her first house in February shelling out $2.7 million for the 4,900 square foot, five-bedroom, six-bathroom mansion. The teen purchased the home in The Oaks, a gated section of Calabasas, California, where her half-sisters Khloe Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian live. Since moving into her new home, Kylie has been sharing a number of Instagram photos showing off her new pad. On Saturday, the E! star posted a photo of herself leaning against her couch with the caption “laid up.”

Since turning 18, Kylie has been spending a lot of time with boyfriend Tyga. Even though it’s been rumored for months the pair was dating, it wasn’t until after her Aug. 9 birthday bash, one day ahead of her actual birthday, that the couple has been publicly flaunting their romance. After hugging outside Bootsy Bellows nightclub in Los Angeles when the rapper gifted her with an expensive white Ferrari, Tyga and Kylie headed to Punta Mita, Mexico, for a vacation.

As previously reported, they were spotted walking along the beach in front of their Casa Aramara villa hand-in-hand. A source told US Weekly the “Hookah” rapper and the reality TV star are “very serious” about one another and “totally in love.”
