Kylie Jenner has yet to address her pregnancy with the public, but she was able to reveal what food she enjoys eating every single day - shrimp tacos, according to WHO.

“I eat shrimp tacos every day,” the reality star, who is expecting her first child, revealed on her show, “Life of Kylie.” “I actually learned this recipe from Karrueche Tran. We did it on my app.”

“She taught me and I kind of just fell in love.The tacos, the guac, the onions, the shrimp, the shell. The juiciness drips down your lips. Mmm, shrimp,” she continued.

If Jenner is eating shrimp during her pregnancy, then it should be okay. Kyra Hewitt wrote for Mom Tricks that shrimp consumption for pregnant women is acceptable just as long as it’s cooked properly.

“When it comes to seafood, the problem is mercury. Mercury is a metal which can cause a lot of problems for you and your baby if you come into contact with high amounts of it,” she said. “Shrimp has low levels of mercury, making it a safe option for your pregnancy diet. In fact, the FDA places shrimp, along with salmon, cod, tilapia, and others, in its ‘best choice’ category of seafood for pregnant women.”

In fact, pregdiets.com said that pregnant women who eat a moderate amount of shrimp and other seafood on a daily basis can reduce their risk of premature delivery.

However, Jenner should be careful about her seafood consumption once the baby arrives and she has to breastfeed it. Hewitt said Jenner is free to eat mostly anything she likes, but she has to keep in mind that whatever she eats, the baby is also consuming it.

“Because of that, it is a good idea to continue to avoid seafood with high levels of mercury such as shark, swordfish, tilefish, and others,” she said. “Shrimp is still a good choice and, bonus, you can also add raw fish back into your diet. Just don’t go crazy.”

The FDA has recommended that breastfeeding women limit their seafood consumption to just under 12 oz per week because there is a risk of mercury passing through the breastmilk to the baby.
