Lamar Odom seemed devastated when he found out he was no longer going to be a Los Angeles Laker, and now the NBA star was caught on tape referring to himself as such, the Huffington Post reported Tuesday.

Though Lamar Odom is an NBA star, he’s also become widely known as the husband of Khloe Kardashian and appearing on the reality shows “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” and the spinoff “Lamar and Khloe.”

The reality star/NBA star was first traded to the Dallas Mavericks, which didn’t work out too well. But based on his latest gaffe, it seems he’s still in grief over his breakup with the Lakers.

During a Media Day Interview, Odom appeared to have gotten his teams mixed up when speaking, according to video footage posted by the Huffington Post.

The 33-year-old player said at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, “Hi, I'm Lamar Odom of the Los Angeles Lakers," he said before someone presumably pointed out his mistake. "I said 'Lakers'?"

Odom played with the Clippers during his first four seasons in the league, but he was then drafted to the Lakers, where he ran up most of his success as a basketball player.

He played with the Lakers for seven seasons and won back-to-back championships, along with being named the NBA’s Sixth Man of the Year for the 2010-2011 season.

It was Odom's last year with the team before being ultimately traded to the Dallas Mavericks.

It seemed obvious that Odom was not happy to be on the Mavericks, and his performance showed as such.

He and his wife Khloe Kardashian chalked it up to Odom being mentally out of the game, and he was probably hoping for a new beginning with the Clippers for the 2012-2013 season, but by calling himself a Laker in one of his first interviews as a Clipper it seems Odom is off to a rocky start.

Do you think Odom will ever be able to get over the fact that the Lakers traded him?
