The other pieces of the Spear of Destiny are being kept by members of the Justice Society of America (JSA).

The synopsis for Season 2, episode 12 of “Legends of Tomorrow” reveals that the missing parts of the reality-changing relic are each being guarded by members of the JSA in different time periods.

After learning that new information, the Legends head to the year 3000 where they find Dr. Mid-Nite (Kwesi Ameyaw). Their trip to the future then leads them to King Arthur’s Camelot, where Stargirl (Sarah Grey) is guarding her piece of the Spear. In order to secure the parts of the spear from the now-evil Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill), the Legends team up with the Knights of the Round Table.

Series stars Brandon Routh and Nick Zano took to Instagram last December to give fans a glimpse of the episode.

Routh, who plays Ray Palmer/The Atom on the CW series, shared a photo of him looking grim in a silver medieval armor. In the caption of the picture, the actor revealed that it’s his first time playing a knight since he started acting in 1999.

Zano, meanwhile, uploaded a pic of what seems to be a rehearsal of a fight scene involving his character, Nate Heywood/Citizen Steel. The snapshot also shows Ray’s full knight armor, which he appears to wear on top of his Atom suit. Both Nate and Ray are wielding swords in the photo, preparing to defend themselves from a group of people who are about to attack them.

The episode, which is directed by Antonio Negret from a script written by Anderson MacKenzie, is titled “Camelot/3000.” But executive producer Marc Guggenheim recently said that the installment isn’t an adaptation of Mike W. Barr’s twelve-issue comic book series of the same name.

“I will say, just managing expectations, we are not doing our adaptation of ‘Camelot 3000’ by Mike W. Barr,” Guggenheim told IGN earlier this week. “That slash in the title, ‘Camelot/3000,’ is very much there for a reason. I’ll just say it takes place in two time periods — the year 3000, and it takes place in Camelot. I was like, if we have an episode where we happen to be in Camelot and we happen to be in the year 3000 and we don’t call it some variation of ‘Camelot 3000,’ we’re doing something wrong. That’s sort of all I’ll say.”

“Legends of Tomorrow” Season 2, episode 12 airs on Tuesday, Feb. 21 at 9 p.m. EST on The CW.
