British singer Leona Lewis shared a glimpse of her newborn baby girl and revealed her name alongside her date of birth.

The 37-year-old singer took to Instagram on Tuesday to share a photo of herself holding the little one in her arms. The singer, whose face was not visible in the photo, kept her right hand on the baby. On top of her hand, Lewis' husband Dennis Jauch kept his hand.

The baby's face was partially visible. The singer announced the little bundle of joy's name - Carmel Allegra in the caption of the post and wrote that she was born on July 22.

"And then there were three _ Our little Carmel Allegra arrived 22.7.22," Lewis wrote.

The comments section of the post was filled with congratulatory messages.

Lewis and Jauch were dating for eight years before they got engaged in 2018. The couple first met in 2010 during Lewis' tour, where Jauch was a backup dancer.

"It's amazing that we were brought together from different sides of the world through both of our passions, music and dance, whilst on tour in the U.K. [together]," Lewis told People in 2018.

She took to Twitter that year to share her engagement news.

On the work front, Lewis was last seen serving as a judge on the "Queen of the Universe" TV series last year. She also appeared as a guest music star on the TV series, "I Can See Your Voice: UK" in 2021.

She also worked on the TV series, "The X Factor: The Band" in 2019 and appeared in a music video the same year, "Somebody to Love" featuring Cali Y El Dandee and Juan Magán. The music video was helmed by director Tabitha Denholm.

Jauch, on the other hand, has been a regular on the German reality TV show "Deutschland sucht den Superstar" from 2013 to 2016. He also appeared in a music video, "Leona Lewis: One More Sleep" dropped in 2013. He was also featured in the American reality TV show, "Dancing with the Stars" in 2016.
