It’s not secret that tickets for concerts have become extremely expensive, but Live Nation will try to ease your pain this summer with its Kickoff To Summer promotion. They will offer $20 tickets to a number of shows.

Starting on May 2 and running until May 9, Live Nation will give concertgoers the chance to purchase cheap tickets to shows from Future, Sam Hunt, Chris Brown, Prince Royce, Brad Paisley, Pitbull, Kids of Leon, John Mayer and many more.

According to Live Nation, tickets for more than 50 tours and 1000-plus shows at venues across the nation will be made available. The general on-sale will begin at 8 a.m. local time on May 2 but AT&T customers will get the first shot at buying tickets on May 1 at 10 a.m. due to the AT&T Thanks program.

“From experiencing live music under the stars at an outdoor amphitheater, to rocking out at an arena, or taking a road trip to a music festival, there is something special about summer concerts, and Live Nation is celebrating the start of the season with National Concert Day on May 1, as well as the ‘Kickoff to Summer Ticket Promotion,’ which offers over 1,000,000 tickets to some of Live Nation’s summer tours for just $20 (that’s all-in, no additional fees),” read a statement from Live Nation.

While the price of concert tickets can often be well over a hundred dollars, Dean Budnick — co-author of Ticket Masters — believes prices will stop increasing. “While they may inch up in conjunction with general cost of living increases, it does seem that prices will generally hold. The conflation of the primary and secondary markets has eased some of the pressure,” he told The Fader. If Budnick is right, concertgoers should start seeing ticket prices stay at an average price instead of fluctuating.
