Mackenzie Rosman Now
You may remember her as little Ruthie Camden from "7th Heaven." But now, 23-year-old Mackenzie Rosman is all grown, up as seen in new sexy photos for Maxim magazine. Maxim/Carlos Nunez

How time flies! Mackenzie Rosman, who played Ruthie Camden on “7th Heaven,” posed for some scantily clad photos in Maxim magazine this month, shocking many fans of the popular television series worldwide.

Rosman, now 23 years old, posed for the men’s interest magazine's September issue in a tiny pink balconette bra, lacy G-string panties and black Converse sneakers. The tagline for the article accompanying the photo spread in Maxim reads, “Ruthie Camden is officially all grown up. Heaven help us!”

Photos from Rosman’s Maxim photo shoot emerged in April when the photographer, Carlos Nunez, posted select images on his Instagram account of Rosman wearing nothing but lingerie.

While many fans of the popular show about a Protestant minister’s family, which aired from 1996–2007, were shocked to see little Ruthie Camden all grown up, Rosman is not worried what others think. "They might be” surprised or shocked, Rosman said. “But you know what? It's who I am."

Of course, Rosman is not the first “7th Heaven” cast member to pose in a provocative photo spread. Rosman was just nine years old when her co-star, Jessica Biel, then just 17 years old, posed topless for Gear magazine in 2000. Biel, who played older sister, Mary Camden, said she regrets her decision to pose topless.

“That photo shoot was just a really bad decision on my part and I got myself involved with people who weren't thinking about me and were instead thinking about what kind of a story they could get out of it,” Biel told Entertainment Weekly in 2008.

Maxim did not skip questions about Biel’s controversial 2000 shoot, though.

"I was probably nine at the time, but I remember that," Rosman told Maxim. "It was a big deal. The magazine was banned on set, I think by orders of Aaron Spelling. I sneaked a peek at it, though. It was racy gossip amongst the women of '7th Heaven!'"

Rosman told Maxim that despite the controversy surrounding the shoot (Biel reportedly was nearly sued by producers), she said she "looked up to Jessie a lot. She and I connected; we were just more alike than the others."

However, this isn’t Rosman’s first time in the headlines since her role as a kindergartener on “7th Heaven.” In 2008, Rosman was the subject of scandal when the then-19-year-old posted photos of herself in her underwear. Around the same time, more photos emerged of the starlet making out with another woman, Zimbio reported.

Rosman’s next role will be in the film “Beneath,” and she will also appear in the TV movie “Ghost Shark” premiering on SyFy on Aug. 22.
