A Brazilian man, dubbed the "human satan" by the media for his extreme body transformations, has removed both his ears to celebrate the end of COVID-19 mask rules.

Michel Faro Praddo, a professional tattoo artist, had previously undergone at least 60 bodily transformations including removing his nose, implanting two horns on his head, and even customizing his teeth into arches, following which he was nicknamed the "devil."

Now, in an Instagram post Tuesday, Praddo said he has amputated both his ears to celebrate Brazil's removal of its COVID-19 mask mandate. He joked in the post he no longer needed his ears to keep the face mask in place.

Praddo, who lives in the Brazilian city of Praia Grande, is famously referred to as "Diabao," which means the devil. He had earlier inked his eyeballs and removed a finger, so that his hand would look "more alien," LadBible reported.

A picture of Praddo minus his ears was posted on the social media site Reddit.

"The weird thing is that a guy trying to be the devil actually followed mask mandates," one person said in the comment. "Dude looks like a burn victim whose face has been stung by 1000 bees. Dumb f***," said another.

"Is this man still capable of hearing?" another user said. "ive seen this picture so many times today and it just registered that that is not his natural skintone," said a person. "Is this John Cena after the CCP re-educated him to not recognize Taiwan?" a person joked.

Praddo had earlier said he would go to any length to achieve what he wants.

"Actually, I have good resistance to pain, I don’t think anything is so painful, I suffer a lot more in the post-procedures than at the time, And the truth is that there are changes that without anesthesia would be almost impossible to be done, I would love not to feel any pain. But if I have to feel pain, to achieve what I want, for sure I will face it," the man had told East Coast Daily.

The operation was performed by Mexican body modifier Gattoo Moreno, who has nearly 95,000 followers on Instagram, Ladbible reported. Praddo said he wanted to remove his ears for a long time, but backed away from the idea because he needed them to hook the face mask.

Even as Praddo is known for his devilish image, he is reportedly an active member at the local church.
