Freshman Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene was slammed on Twitter following her latest CrossFit post suggesting fitness is the key to beating COVID-19.

On Thursday, Greene tweeted out a video of herself doing a few CrossFit exercises along with a caption calling for the firing of Dr. Anthony Fauci, who has served as director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases since 1984.

“This is my Covid protection Flexed biceps #MakeAmericaHealthyAgain It’s time to #FireFauci,” Green wrote.

Shortly after sharing her tweet, “CrossFit” began trending on Twitter, with Twitter users mocking Green and criticizing her Crossfit routine.

“The worst form I’ve ever seen. I can’t stop laughing,” Emma Vigeland, co-host of Peacock’s “Majority Report,” tweeted.

Another user noted that healthy people were infected with the coronavirus despite their rigorous workout routine.

“A lot of elite athletes got sick with Covid-19 is she honestly trying to say her CrossFit makes her more healthy? I really wish Twitter allowed a report on misinformation,” the tweet read.

Greene’s latest comments come after she introduced two bills on Thursday. One bill is The Fire Fauci Act, which would eliminate Dr. Fauci’s salary until a new director of the NIAID is appointed by the Senate. The other bill is the We Will Not Comply Act, which would ban vaccine passports.

Neither of Greene’s bills are expected to be passed.
