“Married at First Sight” couples have issues that often come up repeatedly over the Lifetime show's eight-week filming period, but Michael Watson and Meka Jones really seem to be running in circles a lot, even by reality TV standards. An International Business Times exclusive clip reveals that Meka believes her husband is still lying to her.

The video (seen above) reveals that Meka wants to be aware of her husband’s financial situation and his employment. He needs to be honest.

“I cannot say yes on Decision Day if you continue to lie to me,” Meka says. “That was a very honest conversation we had off-camera, and you said, ‘From now on, I will not lie to you anymore.’ And I’m asking you to honor that commitment in this moment. Honor the fact that you told me that you would be truthful going forward.”

Michael has shown Meka an offer letter from his job. He wants the conversation to end there. However, the letter apparently doesn’t include his salary. Meka asks him to write down what it is, and when Michael does so, she accuses him of lying.

“I’m not going to sit here and have a conversation with him when all he’s doing is lying,” Meka tells the producer in the room. “He’s just gonna keep writing down false numbers. He’s just going to keep getting lower. Like, why not just be honest?”

She leaves the apartment. Michael insists that it’s the truth.

“I don’t want to be with a liar and he keeps [expletive] lying. I don’t want to be with somebody like that,” Meka tells the producer in the hallway.

She doesn’t even see the point of telling him that again. They’ve had this conversation before. “That is who Michael is. There’s nothing I can say to him to make him stop lying,” she says.

Meka seems ready to get a divorce. “I’ve tolerated it long enough. I’ve kept allowing him to make this commitment to me that he’ll be truthful. Not once is he honest. But it’s a marriage. I stayed and I allowed him…and he continues to lie. He needs help. That’s beyond me.”

The situation would be tough for any couple, but the fact that this is “Married at First Sight” makes it more difficult. She worries that she doesn’t know anything about Michael that’s real. “I’m the one stressed about the fact that I don’t know [expletive] about my husband. I don’t know who this dude is,” she says.

She insists that he needs professional help, and they won’t be able to make their marriage work until he does.
