Meghan Markle was recently criticized by “Good Morning Britain” host, Piers Morgan,” for having double standards.

In his column for Daily Mail, Morgan hit out at the Duchess of Sussex for somehow still involving herself in political matters even though she’s a member of the royal family. It was recently announced that Prince Harry’s will guest-edit Vogue’s September issue.

According to Morgan, the “Suits” alum is being as political as any royal has ever been for snubbing President Donald Trump when he visited the United Kingdom last month. But Markle continues to promote equality and open-mindedness. She has also teamed up with 15 trailblazers for Vogue.

“Her primary role now is to promote Britain, like any member of the British Royal Family. That’s why they get the taxpayer-funded places, servants, and gilded lifestyle,” he said.

Morgan also criticized Prince Harry’s wife for caring more about promoting the brand Meghan in America than being a royal. The host also slammed the former actress for constantly bleating about privacy but also editing Vogue to promote herself.

Meanwhile, this isn’t the first time that Morgan has criticized the Duchess of Sussex. In fact, the “GMB” host has been slamming the former Hollywood star ever since her engagement to Prince Harry was announced.

Morgan previously revealed that he and Markle were actually friends but the latter stopped returning the former’s calls after she got introduced to the Duke of Sussex.

The snub didn’t sit well with Morgan and he has been throwing shade at Markle since then. He previously said that Markle’s obsession with privacy is ridiculous after reports swirled that the royal’s security team urged Wimbledon goers to not take photos of her.

“If you go to Wimbledon with your free tickets in the Royal Box, the best seats in the house for nothing, and you take your bezzies… you’re a public person… It’s not a private place… If you want to be private don’t go to the Royal Box at Wimbledon,” he said.
