Meghan Markle may have a ton of wonderful qualities, but she is reportedly not someone that people can easily be friends with.

A source, who claimed to be an acquaintance of the Duchess of Sussex, told Vanity Fair that Markle’s ultimate goal has always been to become a household name. Prince Harry’s wife was also described as someone who is extremely smart and poised but very guarded.

“She’s not a person you can actually be friends with. She’s the type of person who is best friends with her stylist,” the source said.

The publication also revealed that Markle threw a Sayonara Zara party when she started to make it in Hollywood. She reportedly gave away all of her cheap clothes to her guests so that she could make way for the newer and pricier pieces that she could finally afford.

After being cast as Rachel Zane in “Suits,” Markle reportedly became aware that she has finally made it. She immediately hired the services of her good friend and stylist, Jessica Mulroney, to revamp her entire wardrobe. A source claimed that Markle and Mulroney were so close that Markle modeled herself based on Mulroney.

“Meghan adores Jessica, not just as a friend but also as someone whose taste and style are impeccable. Meghan looks up to Jessica and has, to a certain degree, modeled herself on her,” the source told Daily Mail.

Mulroney attended Prince Harry and Markle’s royal wedding at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle on May 19. Her children also served as page boys and a bridesmaid to the royal couple. It has been reported that Mulroney also joined the Duke and Duchess of Sussex on their first overseas tour of Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, and the Kingdom of Tonga in October.

Markle’s two-week wardrobe during her overseas tour was rumored to have cost a staggering $62,700.

In related news, Markle also made headlines this week after it was reported that Americans would be happy if she split from Prince Harry. AJ Benza, a former showbiz reporter, told OK! Magazine that Americans couldn’t care less about Markle and the royal family.

However, this doesn’t mean that they won’t be happy if the Duchess of Sussex is involved in controversy because this is what Americans are like.
