Piers Morgan is lashing out at Meghan Markle and Prince Harry once more ahead of their sit-down interview with Oprah Winfrey airing this Sunday, and he didn't mince words.

Following Prince Harry's interview with James Corden and the release of a teaser for their highly anticipated sit-down, Morgan criticized the Duke and Duchess of Sussex for their "hypocritical" and "narcissistic" actions in a new column for the Daily Mail.

The "Good Morning Britain" host compared their actions to that of Greta Garbo, who famously said "I want to be alone" on screen. The '30s actress left Hollywood and retreated completely from the spotlight until her death in 1990 at age 84.

"Above all, they wanted privacy," he wrote of Prince Harry and Markle. "…They are no longer required to perform any royal duties despite retaining their royal titles. They can lead exactly the lives they want. They’re free! But it turns out that being left alone is the very last thing Meghan and Harry wanted."

Morgan called out the Sussexes for campaigning for environmental protection while using private jets, and preaching about poverty while throwing a $500,000 baby shower in New York. "They kept doing hypocritical stuff that deserved criticism, but when the media duly criticized them, they then accused the media of racist bullying," he said.

He also described Prince Harry and Markle as narcissistic for speaking about how "unbelievably tough" they've had it when 2.5 million people have died due to the COVID-19 pandemic and tens of millions have lost their jobs. Further, he questioned the timing of their Oprah interview as Prince Harry's grandfather, Prince Philip, remains hospitalized.

"To say them from the gloriously safe luxury of a California millionaire row, as the glorious year-round sun beats down on you and your family while you bank gazillions trading off your royal status, is the most tone-deaf load of entitled garbage," he wrote. "… And to do all this as Harry’s grandfather, Prince Philip, lies seriously ill in a London hospital is frankly outrageous."

"But what more should we expect from a couple who recently tried to lecture the queen on service?" he concluded. "The only service these two self-obsessed, rankly hypocritical, professional victims know is self-service."

Royal fans had mixed reactions to his latest tirade about Prince Harry and Markle. Some agreed with Morgan's criticism of the couple.

"Well said, an excellent column that I believe sums up what the majority of people are saying and thinking," one commented on Morgan's tweet about his column.

"Unfortunately a lot of people are still defending them and think they’re brilliant, amazing... I roll my eyes at that. I agree with every single word you say about them @piersmorgan - I am looking forward to the Oprah interview. It’s only going to cause more problems though," another wrote.

"Whatever your opinion of the Royals Harry moaning about the Royal family while his Grandad is seriously ill in hospital is not a good look," a third user added.

But many others came to Prince Harry and Markle's defense, with one person writing, "Piers, please just leave them alone."

"Harry was a soldier, and you're saying he doesn't know what serving his country is," a second user commented, as another chimed in, "and done more for injured service personal than any recent government."

"Imagine bullying someone for doing the best thing for their family," wrote another along with a facepalm emoji.
