Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been warned against rebranding.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced in January that they were stepping back from their royal duties. Following their bombshell announcement the Queen forbid them from using the Sussex Royal brand.

Prince Harry and Markle said that the Queen has no jurisdiction fo the word “Royal” abroad and stressed that they won’t be using it. A few days back, the couple announced their new nonprofit organization named Archewell.

Many are convinced that they would be making their brand around the name Archewell. However, royal expert Angela Mollard thinks that it’s not the best time for the couple to rebrand because there are a lot of things to be discussed including Prince Harry’s eligibility to stay in the U.S.

“I think what's really interesting is that we don't know about Harry's eligibility for staying in the US,” Mollard said.

“He hasn't applied for citizenship obviously if he did, if he became a US citizen, that would have implications for paying tax in that country. There's a lot of that still needs to be discussed and unravelled. But certainly this is not a time for them to be rebranding, it would be seen as holy inappropriate.”

Prince Harry and Markle are reportedly living in a secluded place in Los Angeles. Their home is close to the duchess’ mom Doria Ragland and friends.

Prince Harry could apply for permanent resistant status for a green card because his wife is a US citizen. However, it’s not clear if their son Archie has dual citizenship.

Prince Harry and Markle made two major blunders when they announced their new organization. First, many felt that they missed to purchase the domain name because when they typed http://archewellfoundation.com they were redirected to Kanye West’s “Gold Digger“ video on YouTube. Second, many questioned the timing with royal commentator Phil Dampier calling it “appalling.”

Meanwhile, a poll showed that Prince Harry and Markle are becoming irrelevant. Over 80% of the participants said that they don’t care about the Sussexes’ endeavors. One even commented and said she doesn’t care at all and asked, “Can we stop now? Can we forget about them and just ignore them? Please?”
