Meghan Markle was mentioned during a new episode of “Jeopardy!” on Wednesday for a surprising reason.

In every episode, Alex Trebek has the contestants share an interesting tidbit about themselves, and this time around, returning champion Nicole Cocklin revealed she’s related to the pregnant royal and her husband, Prince Harry.

“What’s this? You have a brother-in-law who’s in line for the British throne,” Trebek asked the travel agent from Fort Wayne, Indiana.

“Yes, sir. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are ‘my relatives,’” Cocklin responded.

She went on to explain just how they’re all related.

“The Duchess of Sussex is a sorority sister of mine from a different chapter. I didn’t go to Northwestern, but we have the same sorority letters. So, call me the royal aunt of their new baby,” the contestant said.

Markle was in the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority during her time at Illinois’ Northwestern University. She graduated from the school in 2003 with a double major in international studies and theater before really kicking off her acting career and then, 15 years later, marrying Prince Harry.
