Meghan Markle’s sister recently gave an update on her tell-all book that will be released sometime this month.

While speaking with Daily Star, Samantha Markle described her book as an honest, warm, witty, and heartfelt memoir that will chronicle her life and the life of the Duchess of Cambridge.

Rumors swirled that the book, titled “In the Shadow of the Duchess I,” will expose dirt on Prince Harry’s wife. But the multiple sclerosis patient said that this won’t be the case because her book is not a negative pamphlet.

However, this is not to say that her book will be filled only with positive stories about the royal.

“Subjective, I suppose, but most intelligent and reasonable people will like it. Let’s just say the nasty gossip about her on the internet is negative and by comparison, my book is not… People seem to want dirt… My book is not dirt… but it’s not fluff either,” she said.

The timing of Samantha’s book release seems to coincide with important milestones in the Duchess of Sussex’s life. During a previous royal engagement, Markle told royal fans that she will be giving birth sometime at the end of April.

Samantha’s second book, “In the Shadow of the Duchess II,” will be released in July, which will coincide with the “Suits” alum’s birthday.

Throughout the past couple of months, Samantha has been very vocal about her thoughts and feelings towards her half-sister. She once compared the former Hollywood star to Cruella de Vil and she also hit out at the royal for being cold towards their dad, Thomas Markle Sr.

“Quite frankly, I had faith in her on and off to do the right thing by her dad but I’m sick of the [expletive]. Nobody is trying to get close to her but she’s not going to ghost, insult, and destroy this family and skip on her merry way without the truth being revealed,” Samantha said.
