Everything you need to know about the 2015 Memorial Day Air Show at Jones Beach. Reuters

It’s one of the most wonderful times of the year for New Yorkers who love summer. For more than a decade, the Bethpage Air Show has helped welcome the hottest season with “high flying thrills and excitement.” Military and civilian pilots take to the sky and perform adventurous stunts. Continue reading for everything you need to know about the annual show.

Who: This year’s list of performers includes: Golden Knights, Sean Tucker, John Klatt, Screamin Sasquatch, Breitling Jet Team, Matt Chapman, David Windmiller, GEICO, Miss GEICO Speedboat and American Airpower Museum Warbirds.

When: Memorial Day weekend, but more specifically, Saturday, May 23, and Sunday, May 24, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. EDT. Note: Last year, the show was from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., but was moved up two hours this year.

Where: Jones Beach in Wantagh, New York, of course! Those lucky enough to have a boat-- or have a friend with the boat-- will have the best view. People who have a boat should drive it to Zach's Bay or from the ocean. Those who will watch from the beach will have to pay a $10 fee for parking, but admission is free.

Tips to make the air show even more fun:

1.Sunscreen: With five hours in the open outdoors, sunblock will come in handy.

2.Earplugs: It’s going to be loud, so these can be useful for people of all ages, but are highly recommended for children.

3. Bags, coolers and backpacks are allowed on the beach. Just keep in mind they might be searched-- and alcohol is not permitted.

Here are the rules:

1.No pets

2. No Kites

3. No Booze

With that: Stay safe, have fun and happy Memorial Day weekend!
