A product page for “The Sims 4” has appeared on the Microsoft Store. Is the simulation game really coming to the Xbox One console? Find out below.

For some unknown reason, “The Sims 4” could be coming to the Xbox One console almost three years after it was released for the PC platform. A product page for the fourth major title in “The Sims” series has apparently showed up on the Microsoft Store, and it is teasing the imminent release of the game for the Xbox One.

“The Sims 4” Xbox One Release Date

According to the product page that was first spotted by True Achievements, “The Sims 4” is scheduled for release for the Xbox One gaming machine on Nov. 17. However, since Electronic Arts has yet to make an official announcement regarding the game’s console release, GameSpot is finding it hard to believe this new information. The gaming publication even assumed that this could simply be “a listing error.”

Pricing & Other Details

No pricing was provided by the product page, and it wasn’t made clear if the game is also set to launch for other platforms. Publisher EA has already been contacted by several news sites for confirmation, but it remains mum regarding the issue. What’s known for now is that another Xbox One version, called “The Sims 4 Deluxe Party Edition,” will be released on Nov. 14.

Bleeding Cool reports that fans can expect the “Deluxe Party Edition” to come with the basic version of “The Sims 4,” as well as all of the add-ons, DLC and special editions launched so far for the game.

Pre-Order Bonus

Eurogamer has learned that those who will pre-order “The Sims 4” for Xbox One will receive “The Sims 4 Perfect Patio Stuff” pack. This comes with hot tubs, clothing and bonus decor. In addition, the “Deluxe Party Edition” will offer early access and provide extra content to players.

Continuous Support

While the idea that “The Sims 4” is coming to the Xbox One seems unusual, there’s no denying that Maxis and The Sims Studio are doing well when it comes to supporting the game long-term. Just early this year, a free update for the simulation game was released, and it added toddlers to the mix of characters available in-game.

"I'm not exaggerating when I say we've been talking about this particular update for years," “The Sims 4” executive producer Lyndsay Pearson said when the game was launched. "We just had to find the right time, resources, and design to allow us to start the heavy process of actually building and bringing toddlers to life. And believe me when I say it has been really really difficult to not talk about this as we worked to get it right."
