Haru Kato and Daisuke Kambe are moving toward becoming great crime-fighting partners. "The Millionaire Detective – Balance: Unlimited" Episode 4 is likely to show a new case for the duo to crack.

"The Millionaire Detective – Balance: Unlimited" Episode 3 opens with Daisuke and Haru meeting with the former’s grandmother – Kikuko. She asks Haru about her grandson’s performance at work. Later, she tells Daisuke to give his best and follow his mentor – Haru.

In the meantime, Haru heads to Nagoya for a business meeting and on the Shinkansen (bullet train), he meets a young kid who later turns out to be a hostage-taker.

As Haru gets down at Nagoya, he learns about a hostage situation and bumps into members of his old division. He finds out the police is likely to shoot the teenager and decides to intervene. Since Haru met the young man, he knows he can’t kill the hostages.

During the episode, it is revealed the young man is live streaming the entire ordeal on a platform called ChainTube as his sister needs money for her surgery and this way he can collect funds for her.

Later, Daisuke arrives at the crime scene and helps Haru get on the Shinkansen. The episode ends with Daisuke and Haru arresting him. The third episode shows how Daisuke and Haru are starting to work together as a unit. Meanwhile, Haru starts to accept Daisuke’s unconventional and Batman-like style of solving crimes.

The cast of the anime series includes Mamoru Miyano as Haru Kato, Yūsuke Ōnuki as Daisuke Kanbe, Junya Enoki as Ryо̄ Hoshino, Kazuyuki Okitsu as HEUSC, Kentarō Kumagai as Shinnosuke Kamei, Kōzō Shioya as Yukihiro Kiyomizu, Reina Ueda as Mahoro Saeki, Rikiya Koyama as Katsuhiro Takei and Shinya Takahashi as Teppei Yumoto. The music for the series is composed by Yugo Kanno.

"The Millionaire Detective – Balance: Unlimited" is directed by Tomohiko Ito and Taku Kishimoto is on series composition. The anime is based on the original work by Yasutaka Tsutsui.

"The Millionaire Detective – Balance: Unlimited" Episode 4 is scheduled to air Thursday, Aug. 6. Fans can watch the episode online via live streaming on Funimation, AnimeLab and Ani-One’s YouTube channel. Currently, the episodes are streaming in Japanese with English subtitles.
