Ohio police have issued an Amber alert for 5-month-old Kason Thomas who was kidnapped by a woman during a vehicle theft in Ohio. The missing boy's twin brother, Kyair, who was also inside the stolen vehicle, was found abandoned at Dayton International Airport, officials said.

The twin brothers were allegedly kidnapped by the suspect, a homeless woman identified as Nalah Jackson, while they were inside their mother's 2010 Honda Accord on Monday evening, ABC News reported.

The infants, who were in the backseat of the vehicle, were abducted when their mother walked into a pizza place leaving their car running outside, news outlet Click On Detroit reported.

Jackson was later captured on surveillance video abandoning Kyair at the airport Tuesday morning. The child was found safe, but police could not find Kason.

Later that day, Jackson was spotted on surveillance video at a gas station in Huber Heights. She was asking an employee for money while driving the stolen 2010 Honda Accor, police said.

The state highway patrol issued an Amber alert for the missing infant Tuesday. Officers said there was a delay in issuing the alert as the stolen vehicle that was recently purchased did not have license plates.

"A statewide amber alert is still active for Kason Thomass, the missing 5-month-old boy, who has not been located. BOLO alerts were issued last night to the five adjoining states with Ohio to help locate the child, suspect, and vehicle," Columbus Division of Police said in a news release.

The FBI is assisting the search for the suspect and Kason, reports said. Two counts of kidnapping charges have been issued against Jackson.

The vehicle has a missing front bumper, minor damage to the left side and tinted windows. It also has a ripped temporary tag and a "West Side City Toys" bumper sticker, police said.

"We consider this child to be in danger," Columbus Police Chief Elaine Bryant said asking for help to locate the missing child. "This is a cry for help. We're asking the community to come forward and help us find this child."
