Two children who had been reported missing from Milwaukee were found safe Sunday evening.

Darrell A. Harbour, 36, took his children Winter Harbour, 2, and Safari Harbour, 1, after firing shots at the children's mother around 11:30 a.m. Sunday. The mother sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

The suspect remains at large, a report from TMJ4 News said.

An Amber Alert was issued after the children went missing from N. 13th Street in Milwaukee. The suspect fled with them in their mother's vehicle, a maroon 2007 Chevy Impala, with Wisconsin license plate AHA-8816.

"The suspect argued with the victim and fired shots at the victim, subsequently striking her. The suspect fled in the victim’s vehicle with the children, which warranted an Amber Alert. The victim, a 20-year-old woman from Milwaukee, sustained non-life-threatening injuries. She was treated at a local hospital," a statement from the Milwaukee Police Department said.

According to police, Darrell is African-American, 5 feet and 11 inches tall and has a black short beard and brown eyes. He is also armed.

Anyone with information has been asked to contact Milwaukee Police at 414-935-7401.

Meanwhile, another child, who had been reported missing from Forest Park in Ohio, was found safe. Forest Park police confirmed that 5-month-old Xayvah Armstrong was found Sunday morning, reported WLWT.

Xayvah was allegedly taken by her father Christian Jackson Saturday around 8:50 p.m. from her grandmother's house despite a protection order prohibiting him from having contact with his daughter or her mother.

The Amber Alert issued by the Forest Park Police said Xayvah Armstrong was officially in the custody of Warren County Children's Services when she was taken.

Police had said they haven't been able to contact the girl's mother, Lillian Armstrong, and were not sure whether she was with Jackson at the time of Xayvah's missing.
