It's a regular night at the Iridos residence but for some reason, Yume is holding Mizuto's trunks in "My Stepmom's Daughter Is My Ex" Episode 3.

The official synopsis of the episode suggests that if Mizuto finds out Yume has his trunks, she will have to pay a penalty.

Yume wants to avoid that and she waits for Mizuto to fall asleep. She then heads to the dressing room in an attempt to obliterate the evidence. Mizuto soon appears and he has a bra in his hand.

Things are about to get quite weird in "My Stepmom's Daughter Is My Ex" Episode 3.

In the previous episode, Kogure approached Mizuto and offered to take the fitness test together. However, Yume made it clear he will not gain any advantage by getting along with him.

He added that he will never let a flirty boy like Kogure get close to Yume. Kogure noted that he was the first boy in the class who wanted to be friends with him without any intention.

"A boy and a girl started dating in middle school. They were lovey-dovey at first, but due to a misunderstanding over something trivial, they started feeling more frustration than excitement... In the end, they broke up when they graduated. The anime, which is titled "Mamahaha no Tsurego ga Moto Kano Datta" in Japanese, is based on a light novel series written by Kyousuke Kamishiro and illustrated by Takayaki. The series is directed by Shinsuke Yanagi and the series composition is by Deko Akao.
