“Nashville” Season 3 just started up again and the drama won't slowing down anytime soon. Episode 12 is going to prove that Rayna (Connie Britton) can’t just leave Luke (Will Chase) and forget about him. His public fight with Deacon (Charles Esten) and his free concert on what was supposed to be his wedding night will only increase the rumors surrounding Rayna and Luke’s breakup. She is going to face a media frenzy and she’ll have to find a way to ignore it, according to the latest episode synopsis.

Rumors will be flying in episode 12, but as usual, Raya is “determined not to let them bring her down.” She is taking the high road and “finds a way to return to the public eye on her own terms,” the synopsis teases. The preview photos make it look like her first post-Luke performance will be with her daughters Maddie (Lennon Stella) and Daphne (Maisy Stella).

Rayna’s girls will have plenty of practice before they hit the stage. They’ll be in their school’s new recording studio from Edgehill Records. However, it seems Jeff (Oliver Hudson) didn’t just donate the studio for good PR. Earlier in the season, Jeff asked his lawyers if he could sign the girls to his label without their mother's consent. Teddy (Eric Close) might get suspicious about Jeff’s motives when he runs into Jeff at the school studio.

Meanwhile, Juliette (Hayden Panettiere) will go a little nuts while waiting for motherhood. She is “eager to get her career back on track, but at what cost?” the synopsis teases. Is Juliette looking to do a crazy publicity stunt like a naked photo shoot? Or is she going to do something more creatively risky, like switching to pop music? It’ll be sure to shock her audience.

Deacon will also be getting a surprise from his niece Scarlett (Clare Bowen), “but it doesn't pan out as she had hoped,” according to the synopsis. The surprise might have something to do with his sister Beverly (Dana Wheeler-Nicholson). Scarlett called her last week, and it looks like she’ll be coming to town. So why doesn’t the visit work out? Did Deacon want to hide his cancer from his sister? Or will it turn out that, like Scarlett, she isn’t a transplant match?

Gunnar (Sam Palladio) will be visiting family as well. Although Micah (Gunnar Sizemore) isn’t his son, Gunnar still wants his nephew in his life. He goes down to Texas to “mend fences” with his brother’s son.
