According to NEP NEP, Hu Tao has the ability to summon a ghost on her palm during idle animation. The insider, however, clarified the character is still in development and miHoYo might make several changes before officially rolling her out. Very little is known about Hu Tao, but fans could get to know her better through the "Genshin Impact" lore.

Based on the lore, Hu Tao is the 77th Master of the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor. She is known to be responsible for causing trouble most of the time. Qiqi mentioned her in her character story and described her as someone with a very "punch-able face." Hu Tao is a powerful character based on her leaked talents.

Her normal attack, which called the Secret Spear of Wangsheng, enables Hu Tao to perform six consecutive spear strikes. Her Charged Attack allows her to consume a certain amount of Stamina to lunge forward, causing damage to opponents along the way. For her Plunging Attack, she plunges from mid-air to hit the ground and deal damage to opponents. This enables her to deal AoE DMG to enemies upon impact.

As for her Passive Talent, she has an 18% chance of getting an extra Suspicious Dish of the same type if she cooks the dish perfectly. It is worth noting that these are not yet official, so fans should take this information with a pinch of salt.

"Genshin Impact" is playable on PC, PlayStation 4, iOS and Android devices. The game is currently in development for PS5 and Nintendo Switch.
