Disney just delivered the best Friday news this side of a three-day weekend. A new international "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" trailer was uploaded to the Walt Disney Japan YouTube channel. Rather than be a rehash of previously seen footage, the new trailer is packed with plenty of action and incredible shots of TIEs, Rey, Finn and Kylo Ren. As an added bonus, Chewbacca, Han Solo and Princess Leia make appearances.

Disney and “Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens” director J.J. Abrams said the trailer released during "Monday Night Football" on October 19 would be the final one ahead of the movies release in December. That's mostly been the case except for the release of a few character posters released Wednesday. Much like with every other bit of "Star Wars" marketing, Luke Skywalker has yet to be revealed.

Rey narrates over the majority of the latest "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" trailer. There plenty of wide shots revealing the expansive desert world of Jakku. The trio of BB-8, Rey and Finn are briefly seen looking concerned before a shot of a fleet of TIEs arriving at sunset. Captain Phasma stomps before we get another look at Kylo Ren's obsession with Darth Vader. "I will fulfill our destiny. I will finish what you started," Ren is heard saying to the salvaged mask of Darth Vader. Princess Leia, Han Solo and Chewbacca and C3PO are briefly seen at the Resistance Base. For Chewy fans, there's a nice moment where he blows things up.

There several glimpses of large battles and chases, but "Star Wars" refuses to reveal too much. "The Force Awakens" trailer ends with a message of hope delivered by Maz Kanata (Lupita Nyong'o).
