  • A new Meghan Markle term for mental wellbeing has been revealed
  • The term has a connection to her decision to step back from being royal
  • It was not received well by some netizens

A new Meghan Markle term for mental wellbeing has been announced.

A few weeks back, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced that they were stepping back from their royal roles. Their decisions happened months after Prince Harry and Markle complained about the continuous media scrutiny they received.

The term “to Meghan Markle” was created this week and it reflects one’s mental health, The Guardian reported.

“Meghan Markle, a verb, past tense - Meghan Markled: to value yourself and your mental health enough to up and leave a room/ situation/ environment in which your authentic self is not welcomed or wanted,” the report read.

To Meghan Markle isn’t as simple as ghosting. When someone “Meghan Markles” something they have a good reason why they do it. For example, “I’m considering Meghan Markling: they haven’t given me a raise in two years, and I’d have better options working as an Instagram influencer than staying in this loveless work marriage.” This means that one understands his contributions to the company and is leaving because he is not appreciated.

Twitter users have different reactions about the report especially on the term.

“This so ridiculous that’s funny!” one wrote.

“To Meghan Markle is to... oh I can’t be bothered,” another added.

“Meghan Markle is a joke. I hear she does voiceovers though,” another opined.

“Does it replace the terms self promoting and satisfied status seeking user?” a different netizen asked.

Meanwhile, another netizen asked if the term inspired after the Duchess of Sussex meant to lecture in a condescending manner while being a complete hypocrite and causing 1,000x the problems one is claiming to solve.

Meanwhile, another attacked the publication. “I just meghan markled the guardian,” one wrote.

In related news, Markle sparked rumors that he was carrying a fake doll in her recent sighting with Archie and her pet dogs. Many felt that the baby on her chest was just a toy due to its weird position.
