John Cena had quite an eventful night during his appearance on WWE Raw, and despite the crowd’s mixed reactions, Nikki Bella was more than happy to tweet out her support for her man following his controversial war of words in the ring against fellow wrestler Roman Reigns.

On Monday, the “Total Bellas” star praised her love after he shared a few choice words with Reigns. “All I gotta say is baby boy @JohnCena preeeaaccchh!! Lol,” she tweeted.

During the Monday night episode, Cena told Reigns that fans aren’t necessarily sure where he falls on the WWE food chain. “They go back and forth with you because when they look at you, they see what I see,” he said. Cena went on to tell Reigns that he was a cheap “corporately created John Cena bootleg.”

“He ain’t the guy. Dude you’re just a guy, a guy trying so desperately to fill shoes that you never will,” he added. Cena then claimed that the reason Reigns won’t sign his WWE No Mercy contract is because he knows once he does his Roman empire will be gone.

Reigns hit back at the star, calling Cena out for being a part-time wrestler who spends his time “hanging out on the ‘TODAY’ show.”

Cena previously told Complex that because he is getting older, he can’t necessarily do what he used to and has taken on other projects in order to continue his career. “I just turned 40 in April and we have so many young and talented performers, I don’t know how many years I have left,” he told the magazine.

The wrestler admitted that his work obligations in other fields of the entertainment industry have limited the amount of time he gets to spend in the ring. “When you’re a fan, you stay very close to all the programming and all the broadcasts, there’s no dipping around the fact that I haven’t been on the program in a while because I’ve been doing other stuff,” he said.

“I haven’t danced around it, I explained that the reason I cannot be on the program is because the movie folks, their insurance doesn’t allow you to. That’s a dealbreaker, it’s not negotiable,” Cena added.

Despite her man’s commitments, Bella continues to stand behind Cena in everything he does to further his career. However, when she isn’t busy gloating about her fiancé’s powerful words and accomplishments, the star is working on planning their wedding. “[Wedding planning is] going amazing,” she previously told Entertainment Tonight.

While she has managed to get the major things done, Bella revealed that there are still some loose ends she needs to tie up. “I’ve set a date, I found the dress, and now I have to do all the in between,” she explained.

The “Total Divas” star, who will be wearing a Marchesa wedding dress, wants her bridesmaids to wear “high fashion but Victorian” gowns to her “black tie” affair.

Bella told the media outlet that she wasn’t interested in rushing her engagement and doesn’t mind taking her time with the wedding planning. “Once I got engaged, I started to realize, like, ‘Oh, I’ll be married forever, so I want a long engagement,’” she said.

“And I just want to enjoy being a fiancée. I want to enjoy the wedding planning process... I know I’m not going to get cold feet, so I just really want to enjoy it,” she added.
