Miss Universe 2012 Olivia Culpo was allegedly told by American Airlines to "put a blouse on" before she could board her flight with her family. The beauty queen's sister, model Aurora Culpo, took to Instagram Stories on Thursday to share details of the incident.

Aurora first showed Olivia's outfit — a long black cardigan, sports bra and biker shorts — and said the beauty queen looked "cute" and "appropriate." The model then revealed the airline called up her sister to the desk and told her to "put a blouse on otherwise she can't get on the plane."

A Twitter user reposted a screenshot of the Instagram Story, noting: "The former Miss Universe was forced to cover up to board a flight on Thursday. Culpo was left speechless when a gate agent gave her an ultimatum to 'put a blouse' or 'not get on the plane' to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico."

Aurora later shared another video showing Olivia donning a grey hoodie to cover herself up. In the said clip, she could be seen comparing her initial outfit to that of another female passenger in a similar ensemble.

According to the passenger, she was shocked by the airline's request for Olivia to cover up because she thought her outfit was lower cut in comparison to the beauty queen's.

"That's weird," the woman said, as per Page Six.

Olivia eventually reposted her sister's Instagram Stories using her own account. She captioned one of the clips, "Leave it to Aurora to cause a scene. Hide me."

Olivia's boyfriend, professional football player Christian McCaffrey, was also around when the incident took place. Apparently, it was him who offered up his comfy hoodie to the celeb.

The couple celebrated their second anniversary in June 2021.

On the work front, Olivia appeared in a TV series, "Paradise City," which premiered on Amazon Prime Video in March 2021. The show also featured Andy Biersack, Cameron Boyce, Ash Avildsen, Bella Thorne and Amanda Steele.

She also starred in the romantic drama movie "Venues as a Boy," which was penned, helmed and produced by Ty Hodges. The flick came out on June 14, 2021.

Olivia will be next seen in "Tired Lungs" and the film is helmed by director Ashe Morrison.
