“The Orville” Season 2, episode 4 is the first big action packed episode of the show this year. A preview video that has been released online shows the return of Krill. The team will have to up their game as they fight to save the life of their beloved captain.

From space battles to intense drama that involves the abduction of Captain Ed Mercer (Seth MacFarlane), the next episode has everything. A preview video posted on YouTube shows the next episode will involve the return of the Krill.

Fans of the franchise will remember the highly violent reptilian race known as the Krill from the first season. Captain Ed Mercer’s previous mission that involved this alien race did not go well for the latter. And now, the enemy is back for vengeance.

Captain Mercer will be kidnapped by the Krill when he is out there in a shuttle. Killing or torturing the captain for what happened before is not the objective of the alien race. They will use him as a hostage to make crew of the Orville to do something.

Commander Kelly Grayson (Adrianne Palicki) is a strong leader. She will not give in to the demands of the Krill. She will instead try and find the captain to rescue him.

Meanwhile, Ed Mercer will escape from the Krill ship and land on an alien planet. Bortus (Peter Macon) and Gordon (Scott Grimes) will go after their captain. However, the planet they will go to will not have a place to land.

With little help coming from the Orville, Ed Mercer will have to complete the mission all on his own. Time is running out, as the Krill captain is an impatient man. The preview video teases a space action sequence that doesn’t look good for the ship.

In a previous interview posted on YouTube, MacFarlane said that the bar for sci-fi shows has been rising, and he added that they have done their best to make “The Orville” Season 2 better for the viewers. He explained that each episode on the show is different. While some episodes feel like an adventure story, there are others that feel like a romantic comedy.

In another preview video of “The Orville” Season 2 on YouTube, cast member J. Lee teased that the show will continue to have the same level of humor as before. He also added that the new season will knock the socks off the viewers.

“The Orville” airs on Thursdays at 9 p.m. EST on Fox.
