Avid fans of Park Shin Hye will, soon, be seeing her on the big screen again via the upcoming thriller film titled “Call.” “Burning” actress Jeon Jong Seo will join Lee Min Ho’s former co-star. It will be Shin Hye and Jong Seo’s first project together.

Recently, new sneak-peek photos of the upcoming movie were released online. The snaps featured Park Shin Hye and Jeon Jong Seo’s characters that seem to have contrasting personalities, per Soompi. One image showed Shin Hye beaming while raising her one hand while the other featured Jong Seo holding a phone while wearing a dark grin. In another image, Seo Yeon appeared horror-stricken while sitting on the floor in the dark after an encounter with a serial killer as a consequence of her phone call to the past.

For starters, “Call” centers on the story of two women who live in different times. Interestingly, a series of events connected them to each other through a phone call. Park Shin Hye will portray the role of Seo Yeon, who lives in 2019, while Jeon Jong Seo will play as Young Sook, who lived at Yeon’s abode for two decades already.

The first official trailer of the upcoming film was released earlier this month. In the clip, the characters of Park Shin Hye and Jeon Jong Seo realized that they are in the same place but at different times. “Is there anything else you’re curious about?” Seo Yeon asked Young Sook. “Myself 20 years from now,” the latter responded.

Another part of the teaser video showed Park Shin Hye’s character experiencing some shocking changes in her life. The character of Jeon Jong Seo, on the other hand, appeared to go crazy. “They say a person’s life can change just because of some insignificant thing like this,” Young Sook was heard saying at the end of the trailer.

Aside from Park Shin Hye and Jeon Jong Seo, other personalities expected to appear on the “Call” movie include Kim Sung Ryoung as Seon Yeon’s mom, Lee El as Young Sook’s mother, Park Ho San as Seon Yeon’s dad, Oh Jung Se as Sung Ho and Lee Dong Hwi as Beak Min Hyun.

The production, reportedly, began on Jan. 3 and is expected to be completed on April 2. The forthcoming film is directed by Lee Chong Hyun and it will be distributed by Next Entertainment World.

Park Shin Hye’s new movie is expected to hit theaters in March 2020. Stay tuned for more “Call” spoilers, news and updates.
