Pink's husband Carey Hart has been teaching their kids how to use firearms, and the netizens have mixed opinions about it.

On Saturday, Hart took his kids out for a fun shooting day and proudly shared photos of them from their outing. He praised his daughter Willow, 9, because her shooting skills had improved. He was also very proud of their son Jameson, 3, who seemed to really enjoy shooting.

"Fun morning shooting w/ my kids! Willz is getting seriously good w/ the rifle and handling of a firearm. And jamo absolutely loves shooting," Hart wrote on Instagram.

"I’m a firm believer in teaching my kids to shoot, but more importantly, handle a fire arm. No better sound than the bullet of your kids gun plucking a steel target at 30 yards. Have a great weekend, everyone."

Hart's post received mixed responses from the netizens, with some showing approval of his approach in teaching his kids how to handle guns at an early age. But others also criticized his gesture.

"This doesnt strike me as a kids activity...not at all. Yr son is 3 or 4 at most and learning to shoot a gun? Smh," one commented.

"Seems so strange to see kids with guns, but respect to you for teaching them about safety and education. Gorgeous kids and family," another added.

"Teaching your children how to handle guns & get comfortable with them is a powerful life lesson. Especially for your daughter. She’ll feel like a bad a--! Good job," a different follower wrote.

Several grown-ups who supported Hart’s decision to expose his kids to guns at an early age were also taught by their parents the same lesson. Some of them stressed that doing so is educational, and one even shared what he personally learned from his parents.

"My father, a lifetime peace officer, taught me gun safety and how to shoot a gun at an early age. In fact, I cut my teeth on his unloaded pistol!" one wrote on Twitter.

"He said, 'Never point a gun at someone you don’t intend to shoot!' 'Assume the gun is loaded!' He held firearm safety as paramount.”

Another also applauded Pink and Hart for teaching their kids the responsible way of handling dangerous things like guns and motorcycles. The Twitter user added that parents should teach their kids the right things as soon they are capable of learning.
