2020 is going to be a great year for gamers with the imminent launch of two next-generation gaming consoles, the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Scarlett. Both consoles are arriving on the holiday of 2020 and along with their official releases, are exclusive games. There is an interesting list of big-budget new games and sequels anticipated to release on Sony’s PlayStation 5.

“Horizon Zero Dawn 2” and “God Of War 2” are anticipated to join PlayStation 5’s list of launch titles. “Death Stranding” from the legendary game creator Hideo Kojima is also one of the most-awaited PS5 titles. These are just some of the games that will take full advantage of the improved graphics, extremely fast loading times, and revamped controller of Sony’s next-generation gaming console.

“Assassin's Creed 2020” or the next iteration to the successful Assassin’s Creed series, according to Kotaku, is slated to be released in 2020 right along with the release of the PlayStation 5. The first-person shooter title “Call of Duty: Black Ops 5” is also heavily speculated for an October 2020 release to tie in with the release of Xbox Scarlett and the PS5. CD Projekt Red’s “Cyberpunk 2077,” a futuristic RPG where Keanu Reeves is one of the NPCs is also scheduled to release next year and will likely to release on the next generation gaming consoles.

“God of War 2” is expected to be a PS5-exclusive release and is anticipated to be available in 2020 along with another sequel, presumably another PS5-exclusive title “Horizon Zero Dawn 2.” Rockstar Games’ “GTA 6” is also expected to launch on next-generation gaming consoles, but several rumors claim that it is going to be released exclusively on the PS5 for one month. The PlayStation 4 exclusive title “Spider-Man” will also have a sequel “Spider-Man 2,” which is anticipated to arrive in 2021 and will be released as a PlayStation 5 exclusive title.

“Ghost of Tsushima” is another title anticipated to release in the PlayStation 5. We first saw its gameplay trailer during E3 2018, and hopefully, we will be able to get our hands on it next year. “The Last Of Us 2” is another sequel anticipated to release on Sony’s next-generation console. Its first installment, “The Last of Us,” was a massive hit and was exclusively available on PlayStation 4.
