Apple is way behind Samsung in the flagship phone race this year as the Cupertino company has yet to reveal the full details of the next iPhone. Meanwhile, Samsung has already laid out many of the upcoming features of the Galaxy Note 10. Here are some possible iPhone 11 features that could give Samsung’s new release a run for its money.

As seen on Samsung’s new device announcements, the company is planning to release a device with “Wireless Powershare,” which allows the phone to remotely pass some battery charge to compatible devices. Apple needs to introduce something new or better than this feature to beat Samsung.

So far, Apple speculations that are currently circulating claim that the company is developing new features and upgrades to boost its upcoming device’s battery life. The iPhone 11 may come with a quick charger, which assures that the new Apple device will always be usable, provided that there is a power outlet.

This new charger is said to have a Lightning port connector, along with a USB-C plug which would allow the iPhone 11 to have more compatibility than with just older Apple devices.

Alternatively, the iPhone 11 could directly compete with Samsung and have its own Wireless Powershare feature. Apple is known to innovate on every feature they push out on their devices.

Aside from contesting a rival on even grounds, Apple has pushed out many wireless devices, such as the AirPods and Apple Watch as of late. It would be great if the iPhone 11 could sport a feature that allows itself to integrate with these devices beyond app-sharing.

Lastly, Apple can also add other features that help users save money, such as multi-SIM compatibility, which would allow carrier switching.

Adding the eSIM technology to the iPhone 11 will allow the device to have multiple carriers and adjust accordingly to the user’s needs. Potentially, the new feature could also provide users with the opportunity to save money with carriers as they could switch to another one and stop using up data on their paid carrier subscriptions.

For now, we’ll have to wait for Apple and see if they have other plans with the iPhone 11 and if they’re aiming to beat the competition with it.
